Die Nacht vor der Premiere: Bis zum Morgen muss Wolfgang Amadé die Ouvertüre zu seiner Oper Don Giovanni aufs Papier bringen. Zwischen dampfendem Kaffee, kurzen Yoga-Pausen und fliegenden Notenblättern entfaltet sich ein turbulentes nächtliches Wettrennen gegen die Zeit. Mit unbändiger Spielfreude springt das accio piano trio dem Komponisten dabei zur Seite. Inspiriert von einer überlieferten Anekdote und mit jeder Menge Humor erzählt das Konzert von der Magie des Komponierens.

The night before the premiere: Wolfgang Amadé Mozart has to write down the music for the overture to his opera Don Giovanni before the morning. A turbulent race against time unfolds during the night against the background of steaming hot coffee, brief yoga intervals and sheets of manuscript paper flying around. The accio piano trio comes to the composer’s assistance with boundless joy in music-making. Inspired by an apocryphal anecdote and with a good portion of humour, the concert tells the story of the magic of composing.
